Download DMVX v0.4 for Windows

A license code is required. DMVX asks for your license code the first time you start it. Get your license ($119.00 / year per office).

Install steps

  1. Download the installer and run DMVX-Setup-v0.4.exe. Windows will ask for permission to install; choose Yes.
  2. If Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen (SmartScreen), click More info, then Run anyway. See the note below.
  3. Finish the installer and open DMVX from the desktop or Start menu. A black window starts the app and Microsoft Edge opens. Keep the black window open while you work.
  4. Paste your license code on the first-start screen, then create your office login.

Why does Windows say “unknown publisher”?

This early release is not yet digitally signed, and Windows has not seen many downloads of it. For that reason SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher. The publisher is Choto Agency, Inc. To confirm your download is the file we published, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one above. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\DMVX-Setup-v0.4.exe

Your data

Your data is stored on your computer in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DMVX. Back that folder up.
