Where do I enter my license code?
On the first-start screen. Renewal codes go in the license screen.
How do I update a form after NY changes it?
Nothing to do. DMVX downloads signed form updates by itself and keeps the previous version as a backup. You can also install a pack file by hand in Forms → Update….
The scanner types nothing.
Click the blue Sure Scan box first, then pull the trigger. The scanner must be in keyboard mode.
Printing isn't double-sided.
The forms ask for double-sided printing, but your printer driver can override it. Choose duplex “flip on long edge” in the print dialog.
Where is my data?
On your computer only, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DMVX. Back it up.
Photo reading doesn't work.
OCR needs Tesseract installed. Barcode scanning works without it.
